Rockefeller String Quartet Visits Gardner STEM
Rockefeller String Quartet Visits Gardner STEM Gardner STEM third graders enjoyed a visit and performance from the Rockefeller String Quartet today. Some of the students even got to participate in an activity!
They were asked to draw what the music made them feel or see in their mind.
Here is more information on our guests today:
Rockefeller String Quartet - Responding to what was clearly a statewide need, the ASO and the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation began a partnership in 2000 to form the Rockefeller Quartet. Now nearly fourteen years later, the Quartet has developed a reputation for providing quality school programming, the quartet performs statewide as a chamber ensemble and with the Arkansas Symphony. The quartets’ primary responsibilities include string education and outreach throughout the state reaching more than 24,000 Arkansas school children each year.
